Artist’s Quote

TO BE TRANS IS TO FLOW, IS TO

BELONG LIKE WATER BELONGS,

IS TO BE WHERE THE LIVING &

THE LOVING & THE BEGINNING &

THE DYING & THE SHIMMERING

AGAINST ALL OF THAT GLISTENING

GRIEF IS GOOD. AND IT IS.

AND IT IS.

Luminary’s Quote

The future is queerness’s domain. – José Esteban Muñoz

Muñoz, José Esteban. Cruising Utopia: The Then & There of Queer Futurity. New York: NYU Press, 2009.

Jenevieve Ting 丁克依 is a queer, non-binary, Chinese American writer, artist, facilitator, and lover boy. They are the co-editor and co-founder of Loves Me | Loves Me Not (@lovesmezine), a yearly Valentine’s Day zine featuring work entirely by queer, trans, non-binary, and women artists of color; and teach a recurrent workshop titled “Queer Love is Spacious” which explores how queerness & gender fluidity can act as guides or maps for understanding spaciousness both within & outside of our bodies. Their work has been featured in Netflix, BuzzFeed, Slant’d Magazine, Banana Magazine, the Asian American Justice & Innovation Lab, and NAVEL.

At their mooncake core, they believe that we are all fundamentally deserving of abundance, love, imagination, pleasure, fresh lychee, and gender euphoria. You can connect with them in the queer elsewhere at @tingrolls or tingroll.com
